Below zero. The paper-white landscape was dotted with somehow whiter snow. It was the middle of March, but spring was being flaky, snow flaky. Peña Blvd was empty, save from the ocean of snow and lone traveler. Nina drives towards Denver International Airport. Her steering wheel felt like a toy as the snow beneath her directed her wheels. Should she stop? There was no visibility, where would she pull over? What if another car rear ended her? The anxiety would cause her heart to beat too fast it wasn’t for the icy chill that seemed to freeze even time. Indeed, Nina felt frozen in time. Her car appeared stationary in the solid whiteness. It seemed as though the entire world moved under her feet. This was until a guard rail made acquaintance with the corner of her front bumper. Her car slid out of control. She only knew she was spinning because her stomach clung to her other organs for dear life. Her car came to a stop, oriented in god knows which direction. She kicked the gas pedal in retaliation for the car having the nerve to be stopped. Nothing. She tried less force, as if tip toeing to not startle the car. Again nothing. Her tires spun with an earnest work ethic, but her stubborn car refused to move. She reached to the passenger seat for emotional support, but all she felt was the heat from the seat warmer. She could forget her own name but she would never forget to turn the seat warmer on the second the temperature dropped below 40 degrees. She had many failings, letting Leslie’s ass get cold was not one of them. Leslie was gone now, regardless of how warm her ass was. “Dammit!”, Nina exclaimed. She didn’t have enough gas. Her phone was dead. She wasn’t prepared to be stuck at all. She didn’t even want to take this flight, but Leslie was the only thing that kept her in Colorado, and Leslie was gone. There wasn’t a single corner in the state where she would not see, smell, or taste the memories she shared with Leslie. “Why did I fuck it up”, she wondered. She ruminated in cold silence for hours, “I deserve this. I deserve this. I deserve this.” She could only bring herself to do her makeup, since realistically, this car could be her casket. Out of gas, her heater blew it’s last stream of hot air. Nina was too tired to care. She would rather be asleep than alive, she just wanted rest. Her eyelids fell faster than the temperature and she was granted her wish of sleep.
Tarp? Nina awoke to unfamiliar surroundings. Concrete walls stretched past the limits of her vision. She seemed to be in an underground corridor. It was empty, minus the tarp she was laying on. That and the large blue horse with red eyes. She had seen pictures of the blue horse statue, but this was no statue. Here was a majestic, living, breathing horse. “Blucifer”, Nina inquired. The horse spoke with a soothing voice, “Yes, but I also go by Luci” Luci stood up and laid next to Nina hooves tucked around her new human companion. Nina nuzzled closer to Luci. The horse’s warm breath teased the back of Nina’s neck. Nina felt good, safe. She loved Leslie but, she never felt like she could get close. Now, here she was, in the warm embraced of the curled up mare. “Can I tell you something?” Nina whispered. “You don’t need to say anything, just mount me.” Luci responded and then licked up Nina’s neck. “Mmmm.”, Nina moaned. They both stood up. Nina rubbed the beautiful mare. Luci’s red eyes were mesmerizing. Nina leaned against Luci, forehead to forehead, and whispered, “Thanks”. Luci lowered her front legs so Nina could jump on her back. Nina mounted slowly and sensually. Luci shuddered underneath, letting out a pleasurable neigh. Atop her new companion Nina started grinding. She had woken up pants less, so she could feel the soft texture of the horse below. Separated by only the thin fabric of her underwear, Nina could feel every sensation on her clit. She started to grind faster. Luci looked over her shoulder, and spoke “You deserve love Nina.” Nina grabbed Luci’s mane. She bent down closer so her breast, and indeed, her whole body was pressed against Luci. Nina convulsed in pleasure. “I deserve love” Nina whispered as her orgasm carried her off to sleep. Noises. Voices. Nina’s eyes opened slowly. She found herself safe in the airport terminal. 9:15 PM. Her flight to Tennessee was boarding.
